Abstract- The need for efficient optimization of network resources to cover the lifetime of large-scale and dense deployments of Wireless Sensor Networks opened the door for researchers to study and produce efficient clustering techniques. Clustering has proven an effective approach for organizing a large scale WSN into connected groups increasing the lifetime and the reliability of such networks. Distance of the nodes from the base station and inter-node distances can have a high influence on saving energy and extending the network lifetime. In this process, a PSO based data transmission in WSN is proposed. PSO algorithm to optimize clustering process by considering the energy, velocity, speech of each node. This feature will have a great effect in prolonging the network lifetime as it reduces the amount of energy wasted on replacing the node.

A Review Article of Paper Reduction using Pso Based Optimization Technique
Authors- ME Student Rati Ranjan Kumar, Asst. Prof.Komal Kanojia
Abstract- Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is an efficient multicarrier modulation scheme in wireless communication. It is used in applications like 4G (fourth generation) mobile Communications, wireless networks, digital television, power line networks and audio Broadcasting. It offers both advantages and disadvantages for multicarrier transmission. The main advantages are the elimination of Inter Carrier Interference (ICI) and Inter Symbol Interference (ISI) in the signal. But OFDM’s one of the main detrimental aspects are high Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) value of the transmitted signal which highly affects the power amplifiers complexity. Several techniques to overcome and reduce PAPR such as Tone Reservation (TR), selective mapping (SLM), clipping and filtering, partial transmit sequence (PTS), etc. are proposed and implemented. Detailed description and comparisons of all techniques are discussed in this paper.

Performance Analysis of AODV and ZRP for Congestion Consequences in MANET
Authors- Manisha Mehra, Dr. Mehajabeen Fatima
Abstract- The increasing mobility of humans across the globe increased demand for infrastructure-less and quickly deployable mobile networks. Such networks are referred as Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANET). Reactive and hybrid routing protocols are utilized to discover the route for data transmission between source and destination. As large number of nodes transmits and receives control and data packets over the network for route discovery and maintenance may results in congestion. Frequent change of the network topology due to node mobility and the shared nature of the wireless channel may also results in congestion. We can increase it to a great extent by having a chance of losing packet over the network. This tends to deteriorate the entire network performance. Accordingly it is required to analyze that which routing protocol has more congestion consequences. Along these lines, in this paper, the performance parameters matrix is investigated to analyze congestion cost on AODV and ZRP routing protocol.

Modelling And Forecasting Philippine Gross National Product Using Time Series Model
Authors- Marites G. Ablay, Romelyn O. Del Monte
Abstract- This paper compares the structure of three models in a time series to estimate future growth.A regression model is shown to give minimum weight to the last observed growth and maximum weight to the observed growth in the middle of the sample period. An integrated first – order ARIMA model, or 1(1) model, gives uniform weights to all observed growths. Finally, a second – order integrated ARIMA model at the beginning of the sample period gives maximum weights to the last observed growth and minimum weights to the observed growths. The forecasting performance of these models is compared using Philippine Gross National Product’s annual output growth. However, GNP does include depreciation and indirect business taxes like sales tax. GNP can be adjusted to make valid comparisons year-to-year or among countries. For year-to-year comparisons, GNP needs to be adjusted for inflation. For country-to-country comparisons, GNP needs to be stated on a per capita basis (i.e. GNP divided by the population of the country). The aim of the study was to model and forecast Philippine GNP based on Box Jenkins approach based on the annual data (from 2007 to 2018). The five stages of Box-Jenkins approach are conducted to obtain an appropriate ARIMA model for the Philippine GNP, and we used this model to forecast the Philippine GNP for the next five years (from 2019 to 2023). Time series plots and the correlogram plots were used for testing the stationary of the data. It is determined that the ability of the models in predicting a one year and 5 years step prediction. The table shows that ARIMA(12,1,12) has the best accuracy in predicting one-year step (MSE = .0027, RMSE = .0522, MAPE = .2496). However, it was revealed that ARIMA(3,1,4) has the best accuracy in 5-year step forecast (MSE=.0046, RMSE=.0680, MAPE=.3330),because have the minimum values of MSE, AIC, and BIC. Moreover, we expect that the Philippine GNP will continue to raise according to the forecasted values form the model.

Enhancement of Signal Denoising and Fault Detection in Rolling Bearing using Stationary Wavelet Transform
Authors- M.Tech. Scholar Virendra Singh Rajput, Assistant Professor Seema Shukla
Abstract- Vibration signal plays very important role in fault diagnosis of machine because it carries dynamic information of the machine. Signal processing is essentially needed to process and analyse signal but it is difficult to process and analyze the noisy signal. In many cases the noise signal is even stronger than the actual vibration signal, so it is important to have some mechanism in which noise elimination can be effectively done without affecting the actual vibration signal. In order to enhance the desired features related to some special type of machine fault, a technique based on the Stationary wavelet transform (SWT) is proposed in this paper. It is demonstrated that SWT enjoys better shift invariance and reduced pectoral aliasing than Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and empirical mode Decomposition (EMD) and Ensemble empirical mode Decomposition (EEMD) by means of numerical simulations. This paper presents two robust techniques for denoising of vibration signals corrupted by Additive White Gaussian Noise.

Abstract- Software-defined networking (SDN) is recognized as the next-generation networking paradigm. The software-defined architecture for underwater acoustic sensor networks (SDUASNs) has become a hot topic. However, the current researches on SDUASNs are still in its infancy, which mainly focuses on network architecture, data transmission and routing. There exist some shortcomings that the scale of the SDUASNs is difficult to expand, and the security maintenance is seldom dabbling. Therefore, a scalable software-definition architecture for underwater acoustic sensor networks (SSDUASNs) is introduced in this paper. It realizes an organic combination of the knowledge level, control level, and data level. The new nodes can easily access the network, which could be conducive to large-scale deployment. Then, the basic security authentication mechanism called BSAM is designed based on our architecture. In order to reflect the advantages of flexible and programmable in SSDUASNs, security authentication mechanism with pre-push (SAM-PP) is proposed in the further. In the current UASNs, nodes authentication protocol is inefficient as high consumption and long delay. In addition, it is difficult to adapt to the dynamic environment. The two mechanisms can effectively solve these problems. Compared to some existing schemes, BSAM and SAM-PP can effectively distinguish between legal nodes and malicious nodes, save the storage space of nodes greatly, and improve the efficiency of network operation. Moreover, SAM-PP has a further advantage in reducing the authentication delay.

Authors- M.Tech. Scholar Akansha Shkula, Associate Professor Keshav Mishra
Abstract- Cognitive radio (CR) is considered to be a promising technology for future wireless networks to make opportunistic utilization of the unused or underused licensed spectrum. Meanwhile, coordinated multipoint joint transmission (CoMP JT) is another promising technique to improve the performance of cellular networks. In this paper, we propose a CR system with CoMP JT technique. We develop an analytical model of the received signal-to-noise ratio at a CR to determine the energy detection threshold and the minimum number of required samples for energy detection–based spectrum sensing in a CR network (CRN) with CoMP JT technique. The performance of energy detection–based spectrum sensing under the developed analytical model is evaluated by simulation and found to be reliable. We formulate an optimization problem for a CRN with CoMP JT technique to configure the channel allocation and user scheduling for maximizing the minimum throughput of the users. The problem is found to be a complex mixed integer linear programming. We solve the problem using an optimization tool for several CRN instances by limiting the number of slots in frames. Further, we propose a heuristic-based simple channel allocation and user scheduling algorithm to maximize the minimum throughput of the users in CRNs with CoMP JT technique. The proposed algorithm is evaluated via simulation and found to be very efficient.

Abstract- The condenser is a heat transfer device or unit used to condense a substance from its gaseous to its liquid state, typically by cooling it. In doing so, the latent heat is given up by the substance, and will transfer to the condenser coolant. Use of cooling water or surrounding air as the coolant is common in many condensers. The main use of a condenser is to receive exhausted steam from a steam engine or turbine and condense the steam. The benefit being that the energy which would be exhausted to the atmosphere is utilized. In this study the process flow considered is a typical 210000 kW coal fired power plant having single reheat system with 4 low pressure heater (LPH), 3 high pressure heaters (HPH), high pressure turbine (HPT), intermediate pressure turbine (IPT) and double flow low pressure turbine (LPT).Performance of the condenser is analyzed based on logarithmic mean temperature difference (LMTD) method.

Authors- M.Tech. Scholar Md. Mahtab Alam, Prof. Deo Kumar Singh
Abstract- Heat exchangers are more often than not used equipment’s in the process industries. All most all process industries use heat exchangers for cooling, heating, condensation or boiling purpose. A heat exchanger is simply a device or a mechanical device which is designed expeditiously in order to transfer or exchange heat from one substance to another. If two fluids are alleged at altered temperatures heat exchangers are used to exchange the heat between them. In this paper efforts have been made to design a heat exchanger by modelling in ANSYS software which is having shell of 500 x 30 x 1000 and different tube diameters and inlet velocity of the cold gases. These three variables were manipulated in order to investigate heat transfer performances, as well as, effects of heat transfer fluids and the system’s efficiency. Simulations using Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) were carried out, to have a better understanding and distinct visualization of the fluid flow, and to test and compare the results. The outcomes show that, different size of coolant tube diameter has the biggest impact on the system efficiency, compared to the results. Here assembly of shell and tube are done with air as a medium.

Authors- M.Tech. Scholar Sakina Bohra, Assistant Professor Lokesh Parashar
Abstract- To retrieve important images from a dissimilar collection by using visual queries as search arguments are the arduous and substantial open problems. In this paper the writers have mentioned the designs and implementations of a simple yet very effective Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) system. The colors, textures and the shapes features are the vital parts of this system. With the three main consequent searching steps the searching becomes multilevel. Such propounded systems are very unique as they consider one feature at each step and use the results of the previous step as the input for the next coming step in multilevel pattern whereas in the earlier methods all the features are combined at once for the single-level search of an average CBIR system. The propounded method is very simple and comfortable to adopt. The retrieval grade of the propounded method is valuated using bi-benchmark datasets for an image classification. The above system of methods shows very good results in terms of amelioration in retrieval qualities, when compared with the literature. In proposed work we get accuracy like between 68.15 % to 94.86% in used different features.
