Facial Expression Recognition Convolutional Neural Network

The Role of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in Educational Institution

Abstract- Robotic process automation (RPA) is the future for most of the processes which are done by human. Robotic process Automation is the optimised solution for automation based on in various sectors such as IT, Financial accounting, Supply chain, etc., to automate well-defined and repetitive tasks. In this paper I came up with an Automation solution for the education sector. This paper shows the process of sending the mail of student’s attendance to their respective parent using Automation. The automation process takes input as the daily attendance in the form of a excel file. I utilized automation on this input file using one of the automation tools called UIPath. My result exhibit that the process involved does not contain any errors, also the required time for this analysis is around 94.44% less as compared to manual analysis by human.

Digital Image Watermarking using Discrete Wavelet Transform and Discrete Cosine Transform

Abstract- Telemedicine is well known application where enormous amount of medical data need to be transferred securely over network and manipulate effectively. Security of digital data, especially medical images, becomes important for many reasons such as confidentiality, authentication and integrity. Digital watermarking has emerged as a advanced technology to enhance the security of digital images. The insertion of watermark in medical images can authenticate it and guarantee its integrity. The watermark must be generally hidden does not affect the quality of the medical image. In this paper, we study of digital watermarking based on Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). This method can be used for authentication and data hiding purposes. The future work can be extended to hybrid DWT and single value decomposition (SVD) method to improve the robustness of the watermark.

Digital Watermarking Scheme Based on SVD- DWT Technique with Different Noise Attacks

Abstract- In order to improve the robustness and imperceptibleness of the algorithm, a new embedding and extracting method with DWT-SVD is proposed. The approximation matrix of the third level of image in DWT domain is modified with SVD to embed the singular value of watermark to the singular value of DWT coefficient. The proposed embedding and extracting method was employed to accelerate the hybrid DWT-SVD watermarking and to avoid the leak of watermark. This hybrid technique leads to optimize both the fundamentally conflicting requirements. The experimental results show both the good robustness under numerous attacks and the high fidelity. The time needed to perform the program is greatly decreased.

Service Quality measurement during COVID-19 – An investigation of Private Health Services in Kashmir

Abstract- This research examines the impact of dimensions of service quality in private health institutions in Srinagar, Kashmir. Service quality is the ultimate goal of healthcare. The goal of any healthcare institute is to treat the sick and prevent diseases. The state run hospitals are heavily subsidized by the public exchequer whereas the privately owned and run hospitals make their revenues by running for-profit institutions. Almost all the private health institutions which operate in Srinagar, Kashmir are owned by local doctors who have started the ventures on their own with very little FDI. With a stiff competition among private payers, they are banking on personalized care and improved service quality to differentiate themfrom the competition. Private healthcare reduces the burden on the overburdened public healthcare system, providing jobs to qualified medical personnel, catering to patients who prefer specialized care and can afford it. The literature on this topic consisted of research papers and dissertation submissions on healthcare management and service quality measurement. Research Gap was identified as only a limited research had been conducted on measurement of service quality in private healthcare in Srinagar. This research collected the data using a survey method by employing a questionnaire which contained 22 items measured on a 5 point Likert scale. A sample of 100 patients was chosen who were treated in last 6 months in private hospitals in Srinagar district. SPSS was employed to analyse the questionnaire. Cronbach’s alpha was applied in SPSS to check the reliability of data. Gap analysis was performed on the mean of the responses where the pre-service and after-service perceptions of patients were compared. Factor Analysis, Pearson’s Co-relations, t-Test and other co-relation techniques were performed to derive inferences and mineuseful information from the data. The results inferred that all the factors had a considerable and measurable significant impact on the service quality. It was inferred from the results that the perception of service quality of private hospitals in Srinagar was high. The service provided was perceived to be better than what was expected. The patients were satisfied with care, response, tangibles, and safety with private hospitals in Srinagar.

Adsorption of Pb(II) and Cd(II) From Aqueous Solution Using Citrullus Lanatus (Water Melon) Peel as a Low Cost Adsorbent

Abstract- In the present study Citrullus lanatus (Botanical name of Watermelon) peel an agro waste is considered as an effective adsorbent for the removal of Pb (II) and Cd (II) from the aqueous solution. The effect of pH, adsorbent dose, initial concentration, time and temperature were studied in batch mode adsorption experiment. Maximum amount adsorption capacity of Watermelon rind (WR) was found to be 94.65% for Pb (II) at pH 2 and 78.8% for Cd (II) at pH 8.The equilibrium process was described well by Langmuir adsorption isotherm. Kinetic data obtained in this study are fitted to pseudo 2nd order and Infra particle diffusion model.

Finally, the conclusion offers an opportunity to consider cyber conflict as the most advanced form of modern warfare, which imposes the most serious threat and whose effect could be comparable to weapons of mass destruction.

Thermal analysis of an optimized design of a coffee maker with a plunger flask

Abstract- This paper represents an approach for designing a perfect coffee machine which blends the coffee with enhancedessence from the coffee beans. The current coffee machine in market has certain problems such as leakage of steam, incorrect material usage, and machine not being handy, and not having enough essence from the coffee beans.Considering these points, a flask with a plunging mechanism has been designed which enhances the essence after thecoffee is prepared. The size and weight of the machine have been restricted to make it handy and light weight.Wooden base plate provides required insulation. Thermal analysis on Autodesk Fusion360 was performedto ensure that the durability was not compromised with, because of the constraints such as weight, size, and price.

Abstract- Wood is a porous and hygroscopic material: depending on relative humidity or temperature, it is able to absorb and released water until a state of water balance reached. Like all mechanical properties of wood, the modulus of elasticity is dependent on water content and temperature. It is one of the main mechanical properties measured to characterize wood materials. However, this property is rarely described for tropical wood species [7, 9] and their determination does not often integrate the thermo-hydric variation. The aim of this paper is to find the relationship between longitudinal modulus of elasticity and the humidity gradients temperature of a porous material in general, and for the two species of tropical woods (the Sapelli, scientifically named cylindrical entandrophragma and the movingui, called distemonanthus benthamianus) in particular. The samples were subjected to the four-point bending test at different levels of load, temperature and humidity. The modulus values obtained for the two species were correlated correctly. They validated the formulation of the longitudinal modulus of elasticity in the thermoelastic range.

Comparative Performance and Emission Analysis of BS-IV and BS-VI Diesel Fuel using BS-III C.I. Engine

Abstract- Generally, Internal combustion engines (ICEs) are primarily responsible for the production of carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC) and oxides of nitrogen (NOx). Particulate matter (PM) or carbon soot, is another by-product of diesel as well as direct-injection petrol engines. To reduce vehicular pollution, Government of India introduced BS-VI vehicular emission standard in place of BS- IV. So India is all set to move to a BS-VI future. The Bharat stage -VI emission norms is the advanced emission standard for the automobiles and is equivalent to Euro-VI norms currently in place across countries in Europe. Due to this leading auto makers had to hike their investments to upgrade existing models and make them BS-VI technology. Therefore, in this study an attempt has been made to compare the performance characteristics following parameters were studied: Brake power, mechanical efficiency, Brake mean effective pressure, specific fuel consumption, Brake thermal efficiency and volumetric efficiency. Further emission analysis of BS-IV and BS-VI Diesel fuel in C.I. Engine was also analyzed. Results indicate that BS-VI diesel fuel has higher performance characteristics and lower emission level than BS-IV diesel fuel.

Computer Vision Based Driving Alert System on a Smart Phone

In this paper we will go through a system which helps us to detect driver drowsiness while driving and alert the driver, speed control for parents and transporters, GPS tracking for locating driver/ children, home direction if child/driver forgot the direction of home, tips help the driver with safe driving tips and control vehicle, this system could prevent road accidents due to drowsy driving, at the end of this paper, discussed drowsiness detection system using computer vision Smart Phone.

In respect to retaining wall, RE wall construction is quite favorable as it is economical as well as easy to construct. In this type of construction reinforcement is done by Geosynthetics or Geotextiles. Pressure is reduced effectively by introducing these items (Saran et al. 1992). Lateral thrust on the wall is nearly eliminated because of the development of soil-reinforcement interface friction and bearing. These varieties of walls are easy to assemble and saves time. Geosynthetic Reinforced Wall is most economical among all wall categories (Koerner2000). Different sorts of reinforcements are to be had as alternative for soil reinforcement like; geosynthetics, aluminium strips, bamboo strips and other cloth for the soil improvement. GRPF Strengthened Beam

Abstract- Fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) materials are used in different configration and techniques for strengthening of Reinforced concrete (RC) elements to ensure their longer service life. Use of FRP material as externally bonded surface is one of the popular strengthening techniques that consists of bondinf FRP material using primer and saturant. An attempt has been made to investigate the structural performance of simply supported RC beams strengthened with externally bonded GFRP sheet. Flexural and shear strengthening of RC beams is conducted using GFRP sheet. Total 22 beam specimens are cast and subsequently are strengthened using GFRP sheet. 10 beams are strengthened in flexure and 12 beams are strengthened in shear.Size of beam is kept 150mm× 200mm × 2100mm. Beams are designed using IS provisions. The beams are made deficient for flexure and shear by reducing percentage of tensile reinforcement and required shear reinforcement, respectively.

Abstract- In recent years, the use of externally bonded fiber-reinforced polymers (FRP) has become increasingly popular for civil infrastructure applications, including wrapping of Reinforced Concrete(RC) columns. The Glass fiber reinforced polymer has significantly enhanced the strength and ductility of concrete by forming perfect adhesive bond between concrete and the wrap as reported in literature. Most of the available studies on the behavior of FRP confined RC columns have concentrated on circular shaped columns, while relatively few studies have addressed rectangular and square columns. This is partly because the rectangular and square sections are not uniformly confined and the compressive pressure is unevenly distributed.

Abstract- As there is an economic boom there is an increasing demand for infrastructure in order to accommodate the requirement. As this will lead to high demand for natural construction material and this will deplete them quickly. This paper has been presented in order to give the developers an insight about the usage of alternate material and how it make the whole project structurally and economically feasible. A number of literature has been reviewed and ultimately the coconut shell has been highlighted for a variety of function such as landfill, light weight concrete and structural concrete. This paper contains a thorough investigation on the application of coconut shell in structural concrete with the percentage of replacement of coconut shell partially. The experiment has been done in this project has considered 7 days and 28 compressive strength of concrete with no replacement 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%.The coconut shells are widely available natural material and can be helpful to contribute to the sustainability of the construction.

In this thesis report a linear static and linear dynamic forces comparison has been provided in order to get the overview of the advantages and the utility of the RCC Structural wall structure over the traditional infill frame as the frame shows sign of failure in the zone IV, V so RCC structural wall are used instead of frames according to recommendation of IS 1893-2016. Comparative Study and Design of High Performance Mixer

Abstract- In recent time the use of RF mixer has been increased greatly. Gilbert cell is widely used as core of the mixer because it provides high conversion gain, good port-to-port isolation and low even-order distortion. It is found that the linearity of mixer is very good for Multi-Tanh technique by incorporating multiple differential trans-conductance stage but it reaches to very low conversion gain whereas, use of current bleeding technique increase linearity and conversion gain of the mixer by adding current source to increase the bias current at the expense of power consumption.Since, CMOS technology has become dominant because of its several advantages such as low cost, low static power dissipation and low area, the design of low noise amplifier using CMOS technology was top choice for design of Low Noise Amplifier.The single ended and differential LNA was designed to operate in a WCDMA reception range using a BSIM3V2 model (Level 49) CMOS UMC 0.18μm technology in Xcircuit Open source EDA tool. The key issues in the design, gain, noise and linearity were considered. The LNA’s was designed to provide high gain, matching to 50Ω RF system, good linearity.

Analysis of Boron Nitride Film for Thermally Conductive Printed Circuit Boards

Abstract- – In this paper, a model of thermally conductive Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is discussed. This method helps to reduce the device size by avoiding heat sinks. A thermally conductive base is needed for making thermally conductive PCB. For that purpose, Boron Nitride (BN), an electrically insulating material is deposited on a copper plate using RF magnetron sputtering. Then the bandgap of BN film is determined using UV-Vis spectroscopy. Also, the resistance of the BN film is determined using source meter. From the results, it is found that the RF magnetron sputtering not affects the band gap of BN film. The BN film possesses very large resistance. Hence, the BN coated copper sheet has good thermal conductivity and electrical nonconductivity.

A Scalling Measures of Important SOI Proposal Strategies

Abstract- – The driving force for the semiconductor industry growth has been the elegant scaling nature of CMOS technology. In future CMOS technology generations, supply and threshold voltages will have to continually scale to sustain performance increase, limit energy consumption, control power dissipation, and maintain reliability. These continual scaling requirements on supply and threshold voltages pose several technology and circuit design challenges. One such challenge is the expected increase in threshold voltage variation due to worsening short channel effect. This thesis will address three specific circuit design challenges arising from increased threshold voltage variation and present prospective solutions. First, with supply voltage scaling, control of die-to-die threshold voltage variation becomes critical for maintaining high yield. An analytical model will be developed for existing circuit technique that adaptively biases the body terminal of MOSFET devices to control this threshold voltage variation. Based on this model, recommendations on how to effectively use the technique in future technologies will be presented. Second, with threshold voltage scaling, sub-threshold leakage power is expected to be a significant portion of total power in future CMOS systems. Therefore, it becomes imperative to accurately predict and minimize leakage power of such systems, especially with increasing within-die threshold voltage variation.

A Review of Spectrum Detecting Methods for Cognitive Radio Environment

Abstract- – This paper focuses on the physical layer of cognitive radio networks (CR), that is, techniques that are used to detect the presence or absence of licensed users in different bands of the electromagnetic spectrum. The techniques presented, with their advantages and disadvantages, are organized hierarchically as: fundamental techniques (energy detection, adapted filter and cyclostationary characteristics), techniques based on fundamentals or evolution (waveform detection, identification of radio transmitter, detection of the leakage power at the receiver) and typical alternative techniques of image analysis (Hough and Wavelet transform). Additionally, the main challenges in the detection of licensed users are described along with the different dimensions in which opportunities for efficient spectral use by cognitive radio devices can be found.

So, to prevent the disruption of networks, we have proposed a secure deep learning-based framework that is intelligent to detect attacks and prevent propagation of attack. The framework was tested on emulated wireless network and the result showed an accuracy of 97.8% which proved the efficiency of the framework.

Abstract- It has been a long time that we have recognized the challenges occurring due to the environmental degradation and exploitation of nature with the increasing population and unlimited development. The changing pattern of every days life style and increasing desire for modern technologies have imposed greater threat on environmental resources, due to the fact, the atmosphere is being polluted at alarming rate day by day. To avoid such threats, there is an ultimate need to focus on some alternative sustainable technologies for the safety of our mother earth. The concept environmental education is now globally promoted as a sustainable development initiative and also become the part of curriculum documents and national educational policies. The aim of the study is to evaluate the overall behavior of university students of various faculties towards the environment on the basis of three components – their awareness, knowledge and attitude (AKA) in Prayagraj city. The survey was conducted on 40 respondents – 10 respondents from each faculties of University of Allahabad. A likert scale based questionnaire is used as an instrument to investigate the level of awareness, knowledge and attitude. The study concluded that the overall result is satisfactory. The university students are aware and have enough knowledge to possess a positive attitude towards environment. At last, the study suggests to necessarily keep the environmental education (EE) subject in the curriculum so that the people must have a proper understanding of our environment.

A Review on Analysis and Design of Integral Bridges for Different Type of Span using Finite Element Method </strong

Abstract- Integral abutment bridges (IABs) are jointless bridges where the deck is continuous and connected monolithically with the abutment wall with a moment-resisting connection (Fig. 1). A line of vertical piles beneath the abutment wall is often used to carry the vertical bridge loads. The IAB concept has become increasingly popular in recent years due to reduced maintenance costs associated with the expansion joints and abutment bearings, reduced corrosion and material degradation at the joints, and better overall structural performance, particularly under seismic loading. The biggest uncertainty in the analysis and design of an integral abutment bridge is the reaction of the soil behind the abutment walls and next to the foundation piles. The magnitude of these soil forces can become substantial during thermal expansion of the bridge system, and can greatly affect the overall structural design of the bridge-wall-pile system. This lateral soil reaction is inherently nonlinear and depends on the magnitude and nature of the wall displacement, which can both translate and rotate. This is a soil-structure interaction problem, where the magnitudes.

Analysis and Design of Integral Bridges for Different Type of Span using Finite Element Method</strong

Abstract- Integral Abutment Bridges can be described as bridges generally built their superstructures integral with the abutments, without expansion or contraction joints for the entire length of the superstructure. The structural system offered by bridges made integral between superstructure and abutments can provide structural efficiencies as well as enables the elimination of bearings and expansion joints. In some circumstances the durability of the bridge is improved and maintenance costs reduced. These bridges are single span or multiplane bridges. The abutments, being cast integral with the superstructure so as to avoid the expansion joints and movement bearings that otherwise require regular maintenance. The piers for Integral Abutment Bridges may be constructed either integrally with or independently. The benefits of Integral Bridges are principally the elimination of expansion joints and bearings, leading to simpler structures that are easier and less expensive to maintain.

Abstract- Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustion (CFBC) technology has gained worldwide significant attention. With its well-known benefits of fuel flexibility, high combustion efficiency and low emissions, as well as easier temperature control, CFB combustion technology becomes one of the most important developing directions for coal-fired boilers. In this study, the flow of flue gas inside the loop of CFBC boiler is simulated by using CFD software and the parameter are optimized for maximum efficiency.The objective of the present work is to develop an optimum model with reduced pressure drop and denudation rate with minimum change in collection efficiency. Optimum collection efficiency can be achieved by modifying standard design parameters of cyclone such as cyclone height, vortex length, inlet width, inlet height, vortex finder length and diameter etc. design parameters. Five existing cyclone designs are chosen and an appropriate pressure drop model is used to find the pressure drop. It is found that The pressure drop is reduced if the vortex finder diameter is increased. And With the increase in inlet width also, the pressure drop is reduced.

Design of Minimum length nozzle by Method of Characteristics</strong

Abstract- In this research paper we will design a minimum length nozzle using method of characteristic. Method of Characteristic is a well-known method for designing Nozzle.Here, we will utilize method of characteristics (MOC) to develop a nozzle contour, by reducing length of expansion region of a nozzle. This method works with mathematical concept of Prandtl Meyer expansion fans to shrink expansion zone to a single point. The obtained nozzle would be known as a minimum length nozzle .In a minimum length nozzle, flow expansion will take place while passing through a Prandtl Meyer expansion fan originating from a sharp corner. Minimum length nozzle would be lighter and more efficient for operations. We will write a Matlab function to carryout calculations which cannot be done by hand. This matlab function will plot all the characteristic and contour wall points, the produced wall points would be written to a .dat file, which then can be used to create nozzle geometry in solid works or Ansys Space Claim. We will use Ansys Fluent (which a very successful commercial CFD package) to verify our results, by running a CFD simulation on nozzle. We will check whether the designed nozzle is working properly or not. We will also elucidate algorithm for the Matlab function in more simple words. This is going to be an iterative process so that we can have a better results. The obtained results might be inconsistent on a given inputs, so it is necessary verify the proper working of nozzle through a CFD study.

Abstract- over the years, terrorists have claimed thousands of innocent lives in the pursuit of dark objectives. Considering the nation, India has been attacked by terrorist groups multiple times. The regions with long term terrorist activities, have been Jammu and Kashmir, east-central and south-central India and the Seven Sister States. The army in uniform or in frowzy uniforms defends the nation from external aggression and internal threats thus maintaining peace and security within its borders. But unfortunately, the soldiers are too in threats. They are trained to protect the nation but their safety is mostly neglected. If we want our nation to be protected, we need to save lives of these soldiers too. In recent times there have been attacks on unarmed soldiers during transportation. Considering all the previous attacks, one such attack which caught our attention was the Pulwama attack in which high grade explosives were used. Hence we come across an idea of creating a concept of locomotive vehicle on which pressure vessel would be mounted which would be cable of withstanding pressure and high temperature generated after a bomb attack. If we are successful in our project, we can save lives of our soldiers while transporting them to desired locations. It is our small contribution to our army soldiers who protect our borders and civilians putting their life into danger.

Criteria for ranking of severity occurrence and detection are selected suitably by analyzing the past failure records of the machine. Firstly, the basic requirements of the manufacturing processes are studied and then the potential failure mode of the specific process is found out.

In order to avoid using the standard technique and from receiving results that are just dependent on statistics, a system that incorporates a text-based machine learning model as well as pattern recognition is being developed. This project’s goal is to provide a platform for small and amateur traders to anticipate future stock market values using current stock prediction models that take into account factors such as recent news articles, recent stock volume, and the previous close, among other things.
